The following requirements are required to enroll and commence training for this course:
PPL(A) or CPL(A)
An aircraft pilot licence is required
70 Hours
Pilot-in-command (P1/PIC) experience
Class 1/2 Medical
Valid Class 1 or Class 2 Medical
English Proficiency
A current and valid language UK CAA proficiency level.
Course Details
Ground School/Theory
The ground school/theory component of the course is 6 hours and will be conducted in a classroom setting where you will learn the theoretical principles and procedures to fly multi engine aircraft.
Theory Test
A theory test will be conducted to assess your knowledge of the theoretical principles and procedures to fly multi engine aircraft.
Flight Training
The flight training component of the course is 6 hours and will be conducted in a Diamond DA42 NG/TDI aircraft. You will practice emergency procedures and general handling of a multi-engine aircraft as well as the principles of asymetric thrust.
Flight Skills Test
A 1-1.5 hours skills test will be conducted to assess your skills in a multi-engine aircraft by one of our in-house MEP class rating examiners. Upon successfully passing, you will be issued an immediate temporary Multi-Engine Rating.
